I'm not a big fan of lots of public media, so I usually choose not to blog about my personal life events and ideas and discussions, yet on the other hand I think that it is interesting to be able to read different peoples life events from all over the world.. and what a cool thing actually! :)

I've started working with the middle/high school youth group at my church. It's only been one week, but I really am enjoying it so far. I was able to teach a young girl what prayer is.. and offer some notes of encouragement (God's promises!).

My last day at my desk job will be at the end of this week. It most certainly has been an interesting experience and I've learned a lot and enjoyed my coworkers and such- but I know it's time to go because I only have a week left, and I'm more than excited to go. I have too much of an energetic personality, that sitting at a desk all day just wasn't cutting it for me!

I also have been doing a bit of experimenting with cooking lately.. I made my first steak and my first Mexican Casserole. I'm going to try and cook as much as I can so I can know that I someday provide healthy nutritious meals to my (children perhaps) one day- or at least for myself and family right now! :)

I now own 3 library cards from 3 different cities! I checked out a book on doctors' remedies and such using foods- and that was pretty interesting to read through. I want to start trying to eat more balanced nutrition again. However, with this new passion of cooking and nutrition, I've been becoming quite hungry more often ironically. I wonder if it's for the fact that I think I can make myself some really tasty food, lol! :)

I have been taking ballet classes on Saturday mornings. We will be learning all of our choreography starting this upcoming Saturday. I'm really excited for this because I've always wanted to do ballet since I was a young girl, but I never had the opportunity so I'm excited to be in my first dance recital. My left leg is painfully sore because of the great strain from twirling.. hilarious.. I never thought it could do such a thing!

On the note of strain, I've been wanting to get back in shape. My goal right now is if I do not get employed or go to school immediately after my job ends, then I will dedicate myself to getting --slowly-- back into shape since I've lost SO much muscle from my desk job. Also, I will dedicate my time to learning God's Word and cleaning the house from top to bottom- getting in all of the small spots- and perhaps writing letters!

I have a few options.. perhaps mission teaching in a different country... perhaps assistant teaching in the states.. perhaps going to college again for my teaching degree! Perhaps none! That's the greatness though of trusting the Lord- is that I have no idea where my path will go- but i know that God is faithful and He will lead me and guide me through this journey on earth!

I was reading the book of Acts the other day, and I realized that James was killed by someone- so I was like huh- this is an interesting thing to read about- so I decided to read the book of James and I was interested on the first few verses:

"Count it all joy, my brothers when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
James 1:2-4

So I thought it interesting that the man who was killed once said count it all joy when you meet trials- so I believe that this man left this earth joyful through his trials in the Lord. :)

Have a blessed day my friends!
